What else are credit cards for?
Mar. 31st, 2010 08:24 pmThis morning, we found our Boomer-boy crouched in the spare room, miserable. He wouldn’t walk, wouldn’t eat cat treats, which is UTTERLY UTTERLY out of character for our walking dustbin of a cat. We assumed he’d probably been hit by a car.
Then Tobermory noticed what looked like a tyre mark on his left haunch.
Definitely hit by a car.
The vet agreed, and fit us in to see the vet before his first appointment.
We were understandably worried.
Boomer was admitted to the vet for xrays; and it transpires that nothing is broken. He’s just bruised and sore, so he’s been sent home with us, with strict instructions not to let him outdoors until after Easter. We also have painkillers for him. And including the xrays, anaesthetic, and so on, it was only five hundred dollars, which is really a small price for peace of mind and knowing our wee lad is OK.
Of course, when we bought him home and took the front off his crate, Tigra just had to help.
